Smartspace Software PLC - Bury St Edmunds, England-based SaaS-based technology business, which designs and builds smart software solutions - Reports revenue for the year ended January 31 of £5.1 million, up 48% from £3.4 million a year ago. Says Pretax loss was £1.7 million, narrowing from £3.4 million the year prior. Declares no dividend, unchanged from a year ago. Chief Executive Frank Beechinor said: ‘We see a great opportunity to focus on being a pure software business. With hardware no longer part of the continuing Group, the revenues we generate will come at a high gross margin, in keeping with those of high growth SaaS businesses. ‘Our new fully integrated single workplace platform is nearing completion and will launch in the current financial year.
