JPMorgan Japanese Investment Trust PLC - invests in Japanese companies ‘across the market cap spectrum’ in high-growth industries - Net asset value per share as at March 31 stands at 505.8 pence, up 71% from 472.1p on September 30. NAV total return during the period is 8.5%, consistent with its Topix index, which also returns 8.5%. Total net assets amount to £776.9 million on march 31, up from £730.4 million on September 30. Looking ahead, says pent-up demand for consumer spending and accommodative monetary policy amid modest wage growth will likely result in reasonable economic growth in the near term for Japan.

Current stock price: 488.50 pence each, up 0.7% on Friday morning in London
