Both say he is expected to resume his duties as chair in September, while remaining a director of both during the intervening period. Avingtrans Senior Independent Director Les Thomas will assume the position of Avingtrans interim chair with immediate effect, while Hargreaves Services Senior Independent Director Nigel Halkes similarly takes over as Hargreaves Services interim chair.
