IN BRIEF: MP Evans grows fruit bunch and crude palm oil production

MP Evans Group PLC - Kent, England based company which produces crude palm oil through sustainable methods - Says total crop of fresh fruit bunches processed in the five months to May 31 was 584,800 tonnes, up 2% from 572,000 tonnes processed a year prior. Notes it has experienced a lower cropping period in early 2023, but anticipates higher cropping levels in the next few months. Also, produces 134,4000 tonnes of crude palm oil in the first five months of 2023, up 3% from a year prior. Production from the company’s own mills rose by 9% as the Musi Rawas mill started production in February. Adds, it has proposed a total dividend of 42.5 pence per share, up 21% from 25p per share in 2021.
