Quadrise shares edge up on plans to resume project in Morocco

ALN

Quadrise PLC on Thursday said that its paused project in Morocco will resume ‘at the next available opportunity’, following the arrival of its necessary parts and spares.

Quadrise is a London-based innovator and licensor of residual oil technology, which produces the synthetic heavy fuel oil MSAR. Its shares were up 3.8% to 1.71 pence each in London on Thursday morning.

Back in May, Quadrise said that it had to pause its project, due to a mechanical component in the fuel delivery system failing. At the time, the parties agreed to resume the trial once replacement parts could be sourced.

On Thursday, Quadrise the necessary parts and spares have been delivered to Morocco.

‘Our personnel have installed the parts, re-tested the fuel delivery system and are ready to recommence the trial at the next available opportunity,’ the company added.
