CPPGroup hails contract wins for InsurTech business, Blink Parametric

ALN

CPPGroup PLC on Monday celebrated a number of contract wins for Blink Parametric Ltd, its Dublin-based InsurTech business.

The Leeds, England-based technology-driven assistance company noted progress for Blink across its customer base, notably in the US, where the firm has launched its Flight Delay service.

Blink launched the service with Awaycare Inc and Travel Insured International Inc, a travel brand owned by Crum & Forster Holdings Corp, a large US-based provider of speciality insurance.

In the UK, Blink launched its Flight Delay solution with GetCover.com, a direct-to-consumer travel insurance brand. It added that the deployment of its services was via the Magenta Insurance Platform, which is a policy administration system for the UK travel insurance market.

‘We are making good progress against our strategic objectives and the launches in the US, UK and Italian markets for our Flight Delay solution demonstrates this. Additionally, our approach of working with well-regarded large-scale insurance brands is starting to bear fruit and Blink is now partnering with a number of reputable clients who are well-known within their respective travel insurance markets. We have a promising pipeline of opportunities and look forward to reporting further progress in the months ahead,’ said Chief Executive Officer Sid Mouncey.

CPPGroup shares were quoted at 184.50 pence each in London on Monday morning, having last traded at 185.22p each just before Friday’s close.
