IN BRIEF: Atalaya Mining to stop being Canadian reporting issuer

Atalaya Mining PLC - Glasgow-based copper producer with a portfolio of assets in Spain - Announces that the Ontario Securities Commission has granted the company approval to cease being a reporting issuer in Canadian jurisdictions. This announcement follows Atalaya Mining’s voluntary delisting of its shares from the Toronto Stock Exchange in late March. Last month, company said that following this, it will continue to file all its financial statements and other disclosure materials in London.

‘As a result of the decision, the company is no longer a reporting issuer in any of the Canadian jurisdictions and will no longer be required to file financial statements and other continuous disclosure documents in the Canadian jurisdictions,’ said Atalaya Mining.

Current trading share: up 0.6% at 318.88 pence each

12-month change: down 2.5%
