Mears Group PLC - Gloucester, England-based housing and social care provider - Appoints Jim Clarke as interim chair, follow announcement on Friday last week that Kieran Murphy and Chris Loughlin were stepping down as chair and chair-designate respectively. Says Clarke joined the board in 2019 and has spent spent the last 30 years serving on a number of company boards, both in an executive and non-executive capacity. Says Clarke will provide experience and continuity until the appointment of a new chair. Meanwhile, Julia Unwin will become senior independent director.
