AVI Japan Opportunity Trust PLC - London-based investment company focused on over-capitalised small-cap Japanese equities - Reports net asset value declined by 2.3% over the quarter to June 30. No values were given. Explains an 11% weakening of the Japanese yen against the pound detracted from what was otherwise a buoyant period for the Japanese stock market with AVI Japan’s NAV in yen gaining 9.1%.
