DX Group PLC - Slough, England-based provider of delivery solutions, including parcel freight, secure courier and logistics services - Opens new depot in Deeside, Wales. Says this is the first depot to open in 2023, after having opened nine new depots during the financial year ended July 1. Says it is part of its expansion of its network in the North West and North Wales regions, and is part of a deal to take on 15 sites formerly run by Tuffnells Parcels Express Ltd. Looking ahead, says further investment in the depot network is planned under a £20 million to £25 million investment programme. Chief Executive Officer Paul Ibbetson says: ‘As well as delivering additional capacity, the investments will ensure that we maintain our very high customer service levels as we continue to grow the business.
