CyanConnode seals contract for 500,000 Omnimesh modules

ALN

CyanConnode Holdings PLC on Wednesday said it has received an order for 500,000 Omnimesh modules from Intellismart Infrastructure Private Ltd.

The Cambridge, England-based narrowband radio frequency mesh networks provider said the order will support a smart metering deployment for a Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd project for Madhya Gujarat Vij Co Ltd, located in Gujarat, India.

In addition to the modules, the order includes advanced metering infrastructure, standards-based hardware, services, omnimesh head-end software, a perpetual license, and an annual maintenance contract.

The supply of Omnimesh modules for this project is expected to start during the third quarter of financial 2024. The deployment will be completed in 27 months.

This comes after CyanConnode announced last week it had received an order for 300,000 Omnimesh modules from Dakshin Gujarat Smart Metering Private Ltd.

Chair John Cronin said: ‘We are pleased to have received this further order from IntelliSmart, a validation of our innovative technology and our steadfast commitment to excellence. We remain focused on enhancing our partnership with IntelliSmart and contributing to India’s dynamic energy landscape. With this order, our overall order book for India has now reached 5 million modules.’

Shares in CyanConnode were up 5.8% at 16.00 pence each in London on Wednesday morning.
