HgCapital Trust PLC - London-based investment vehicle that provides access to the private equity investments of New York-based manager Hg - HgCapital Trust will book a 68% uplift to the carrying value of its investment in Pesaro, Italy-based TeamSystem Spa, after manager Hg agreed a partial disposal of its investment in the business software firm, including to the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and CapitalG, Alphabet Inc’s investment fund. Hg has held a minority stake in TeamSystem since 2015 and will continue to do so when the partial sale completes in the first quarter of next year. The sale price values HgCapital Trust’s investment in TeamSystem at £33.3 million, an uplift of £13.5 million or 2.9 pence per HgCapital Trust share, over carrying value. This will put the pro-forma NAV of HgCapital at 474.3p per share. HgCapital Trust will release its interim results on September 18.
