Provexis PLC - Reading, England-based producer of heart-health functional food ingredient Fruitflow - Says China-based Byhealth Co Ltd has submitted an application to the State Administration for Market Regulation for a new permitted health function claim for Frutiflow in China. Say the claim states that Frutiflow helps to ‘maintain normal platelet aggregation function and benefit blood flow health.’ Notes Byhealth approval could bring significant orders for the food product in China. Adds it has been working with Byhealth for more than six years to assist in the launch of Fruitflow-based products in China.
