Axiom European Financial Debt Fund Ltd - Guernsey-based investment fund managed by Axiom Alternative Investments Sarl - Shareholders on Tuesday approve plan for liquidation, with 99% voting in favour, and shares are cancelled from trading in London. The rollover option to Axiom Obligataire, an open-ended fund managed by Axiom, is taken up for 64% of shares, with the remainder opting for cash. Earlier in August, Axiom European Financial Debt Fund had announced the liquidation plan, saying the persistent discount at which shares traded to net asset value and limited liquidity in the shares had ‘frustrated’ shareholders, and an open-ended structure would work better.
