BATM Advanced Communications celebrates contract win of $3.4 million

ALN

BATM Advanced Communications Ltd on Wednesday said that it has received a new cyber security contract, valued at $3.4 million.

According to the Israel-based networking technology and medical lab systems, the contract is for the provision of the its advanced software-based cyber solution to a long-standing government defence department customer.

BATM said it would start delivering on the contract immediately, and expects it to complete within two years.

This new deal follows the award of a $26 million order earlier this year. BATM said it expected to receive even more cyber contracts ‘in the near term’.

‘We are very pleased to have received another significant contract for our best-in-class cyber security solutions, and only eight months after receiving our last substantial order,’ said Chief Executive Officer Moti Nagar.

‘We are very excited about the future of our cyber security business, particularly as we look to expand the applications of our cyber offerings and expect further positive news in the near future.’

BATM shares were trading 0.4% higher at 26.25 pence each in London on Wednesday afternoon.
