Loungers PLC - Bristol-based operator of Lounge, Cosy Club and Brightside cafes and bars - Opens Verdetto Lounge, its 200th venue under the Lounge brand, in Buckingham, England. Says the ‘landmark site,’ offering all-day food and drink, is designed as a ‘home-from-home’ for local people and to bring positive change to the community. Lounge intends to open 34 new sites across all three brands in the current financial year, and Verdetto brings its total estate size to 238 sites with 35 Cosy Club and three Brightside branches. Says each new Lounge brings almost £1 million of investment into its local high street. Chair Alex Reilley says: ‘To be opening our 200th Lounge is a fantastic landmark, but there is lots more for us to go for.
