Coral Products PLC - Manchester, England-based specialist in the design, manufacture and supply of plastic products - Says trading for the year ending April 30 has ‘started well,’ and is trading in line with expectations. Says first quarter of the financial year has been strong but says it has ‘seen some softening’ in the second quarter. Adds it is continuing to manage its cost base. Also notes that Ecodeck Grids Ltd, Manplas Holdings Ltd, Alma Products Ltd and Film & Foil Solutions Ltd, which it acquired in financial 2023, are integrating well and notes that Customised Packaging Ltd, its specialist logistics solutions operation, was merged with Manplas back in May. Looking ahead, says the macroeconomic outlook ‘remains challenging’ but will continue to focus on cost and cash management. Adds sales visibility is not as clear as in previous years.
