Apax Global Alpha Ltd on Monday said Chair Tim Breedon will retire next year after nine years in the role. The Guernsey-based investor which backs technology, services, healthcare, internet and consumer-focused firms said Breedon will be succeeded by Karl Sternberg, the current chair of Monks Investment Trust PLC and Clipstone Industrial REIT PLC, in the second half of 2024. Sternberg will also join Apax’s board as non-executive director and a member of its audit committee in March. Shares in Apax were up 2.0% at 165.60 pence each in London on Monday morning.
