IN BRIEF: Oxford Metrics confirms new chief executive takes up post

ALN

Oxford Metrics PLC - Oxford, England-based software provider - Confirms Imogen Moorhouse assumes the role of chief executive officer with effect from Sunday last week. Follows the announcement in July that Moorhouse, the leader of the company’s Vicon division, would succeed Nick Bolton, who was selected to be the next CEO of Ordnance Survey, the UK’s national mapping agency. Bolton formally resigned as a director and CEO on Saturday last week,

Chair Roger Parry says: ‘’Following a thorough and orderly transition process, the Board is delighted to welcome Imogen into her new and broader role at Oxford Metrics. With a 22-year tenure at Vicon, the last 11 years as Vicon CEO, we are very fortunate to have a natural successor. Imogen has been integral to strategic initiatives and growth to date, and we look forward to supporting her as she leads and scales the business towards its five-year plan for growth.‘

Moorhouse comments: ’I am delighted to formally take up the position as CEO of Oxford Metrics which is on an exciting growth trajectory and continues to push the boundaries of innovation. I look forward to working closely with the board and the broader teams to drive further momentum in capturing the expanding market opportunity in smart sensing.‘
