Guild Esports PLC - Signs three top-ranked professional players, ’Blacha’, ’Chico’ and ’PabloWingu’ to its professional Fortnite group. Blacha, Chico and PabloWingu are regarded as ‘industry ones to watch’ and have won over $185,000 combined in tournament prize pools in 2023, it notes. They will be competing under the Guild banner in European and international Fortnite tournaments. Says the new players represent a shift in focus for Guild towards targeting up-and-coming and developing talent via scouting and data analysis tools. Chief Executive Jasmine Skee says: ‘Guild’s Fortnite team is an important jewel in our crown, and I’m delighted to strengthen our long-term position in the iconic esport by signing young three players who have already achieved remarkable success.
