Renewi PLC - Milton Keynes-based company that turns waste into recycled products - Macquarie Asset Management on Thursday rules out making an offer for the company. Macquarie says the decision follows multiple attempts to engage with Renewi, including through a revised proposal which was rejected. ‘It does not feel it is in an informed position to make an offer for Renewi,’ Macquarie adds. In September, Macquarie said it was considering making a takeover offer for Renewi worth £636 million, but Renewi rejected the suggested price as too low.
