Hardide CEO to step down by April after 11 years; seeking successor

ALN

Hardide PLC on Wednesday said Chief Executive Officer Philip Kirkham will step down on or before April 30 after 11 years.

Shares in Hardide were up 7.5% at 13.98 pence each in London on Wednesday morning.

The Oxfordshire, England-based developer and provider of advanced surface coating technology said it is currently in the process of recruiting his successor.

Non-Executive Chair Andrew Magson said: ‘The board and all at Hardide are hugely indebted to Phil Kirkham for his leadership of the group for over 11 years and his key role in building the business and platform for growth that we have today. We look forward to continuing to work with Phil in the coming months as we manage the succession to a new CEO.’

Hardide also said it has hired Matthew Hamblin as non-executive director, starting Wednesday. He served as CEO for Keronite International Ltd until May and currently is commercial vice president at Nyobolt Ltd.
