Eurasia Mining falls on winding up petition from former legal adviser

ALN

Eurasia Mining PLC on Friday confirmed that it has received a winding up petition from its former legal adviser, Gowling WLG LLP.

Eurasia Mining is a London-headquartered, mining and mineral exploration company formerly focused on Russia. Its shares closed down 23% to 2.08 pence each in London on Friday.

The company said the winding up petition relates to unpaid invoices, amounting to approximately £108,000 that are in dispute.

It hopes that it ‘can be resolved amicably and without recourse to further legal proceedings.’

‘The company is taking legal advice in relation to the matter and further updates will be provided as appropriate,’ Eurasia said.
