UK Oil & Gas PLC on Wednesday said that it has re-commenced operations at Pinarova-1, with site access and well pad strengthening and repair. UK Oil & Gas is a London-based exploration and production company focused on UK and Turkey. Its shares were up 7.0% to 0.029 pence each in London on Wednesday afternoon. It added that this will be followed by the arrival of the service provider PSI’s wireline equipment and the operator AME’s swab testing unit. In December, UKOG said its service provider PSI has secured all of the required explosive permits to deploy its 7-inch perforating guns at Pinarova in Turkey. It noted that the guns will be deployed over the Germik/Hoya section, where it says it detected and recorded strong oil odours over a 12-hour period, and recovered mobile light oil from the mud pit.
