Mobile Streams confirms What Technology partnership for Mexican arm

ALN

Mobile Streams PLC on Wednesday confirmed that it intends for WA Technology Group Ltd, or What Technology, to become the platform provider for its betting business that is being launched in Mexico with its partners.

London-based mobile content provider Mobile Streams said this follows its announcement last month that it will be expanding its publishing, betting and media ownership operations in Mexico through the acquisition of Capital Media Sports SA.

At the time, it said its subsidiary Mobile Streams of Mexico S de RI would buy a 10% interest in Capital Media Sports for MXN5 million, or around £228,000.

Mobile Streams on Wednesday said What Technology is a ‘renowned’ business-to-business and iGaming solutions provider.

Mobile Streams Chief Executive Officer Mark Epstein said: ‘To have such an experienced and respected partner as both an investor in Mobile Streams and platform provider to our betting business in Mexico demonstrates the strength of both the opportunity and the focus all the bet business partners have on delivery.’

Shares in Mobile Streams were up 0.9% to 0.058 pence each in London on Wednesday afternoon.
