IN BRIEF: Anglesey Mining finds copper equivalent, gold in Wales

ALN

Anglesey Mining PLC - Base metals miner with operations in North Wales, Sweden and Canada - Finds 22.0 metre intersection with 3.7% copper equivalent in hole NCZ001 in the Garth Daniel zone on Parys mountain on the Isle of Anglesey in north west Wales. Further, finds 0.7 grams of gold per tonne and 16 grams of silver per tonne at an intersection of hole NCZ001 in the northern copper zone. Interim Chair Andrew King says: ‘Infill drilling of these mineralised zones will play a crucial role in the development studies for Parys mountain. The primary target for this program is to provide additional pierce points to enable the current ’inferred’ resources to be upgraded to the ’indicated’ category. The second drill hole, NCZ002, is currently at a depth of around 360 metres with the northern copper zone target estimated to commence at a downhole depth of around 420 metres.’
