IN BRIEF: Renew Holdings reports strong quarterly trading ahead of AGM

Renew Holdings PLC - Leeds, England-based engineering services group supporting the maintenance and renewal of UK infrastructure - Chair David Brown will open annual general meeting on Tuesday morning saying that trading for the first quarter to December 31 was in line with board’s expectations, as trading momentum experienced throughout the 12 months to September 30 continued into the current financial year. Group order book stood at £874 million on December 31, up from £861 million at the same time one year prior. Engineering Services order book grew to £795 million from £758 million. Company will issue half-year trading update on April 2.

Brown continues: ‘The long-term structural growth drivers in the UK’s regulated infrastructure markets, combined with the expertise across our businesses provides significant opportunities across the group and the board looks to the future with confidence.’

Current stock price: 849.36 pence, down 0.1% on Tuesday morning in London

12-month change: up 15%
