Audioboom Group PLC - Jersey-registered podcast publisher with offices in London and New York - Says it achieved ‘record audience reach’ last month. Over 38.6 million unique listeners worldwide downloaded podcasts on the Audioboom Creator Network in January, ‘a new monthly record’ and over 9% higher than the average 34.4 million listeners reached per month during the fourth quarter of 2023. Company says it is now the fifth largest US podcast publisher as ranked by Triton Digital LLC, which provides marketing and content management services to audio streaming and podcast companies. Says the difference in weekly listeners between it and third-placed Wondery LLC has shrunk from 2.5 million to 1.5 million. Adds that it ‘will continue to bring new top tier podcasts with strong audiences to the platform in 2024’. Chief Executive Officer Stuart Last says: ‘Listeners continue to flock to podcasting and we are doing an incredible job of growing...faster than our competitors.
