TruFin PLC - London-based holding company of three growth-focused technology businesses operating in early payment provision, invoice finance, and mobile games publishing - Subsidiary Playstack Ltd has sold more than one million units of recent release Balatro. This makes the game its fastest selling game to date. Balatro, a poker-themed game, has averaged 18 hours of play time across its PC gamers. Playstack has a further five game releases scheduled to release in 2024, with survival crafting game, Abiotic Factor, expected to come out in May. TruFin says that Balatro’s success, as well as the operational and financial performances of companies across its portfolio, ‘reaffirms the board’s confidence meeting market expectations’ for this year. TruFin Chief Executive Officer says: ‘The Playstack team have, yet again, found another unique game to engage and entertain gamers across the globe. Playstack is process-driven, with a repeatable and scalable business model.
