Audioboom appoints sales executives after record month

ALN

Audioboom Group PLC on Monday announced the appointment of two new sales executives to drive the company’s growth and expansion.

The Jersey-registered company is a leading podcast publishers and in March reported a record 1.1 billion in available advertising impressions. This represents a 10% increase from the previous record of 1 billion set in October last year.

Audioboom said Molly Harvey, who previously worked at SiriusXM and CBS Radio, will join the company as vice president of brand sales. Meanwhile, Shaun Wilson will return to the company as vice president of UK sales after stints at Sony Entertainment and Spotify following his time as Audioboom’s UK head of sales.

Chief Executive Officer Stuart Last said: ‘Our network flywheel is generating record levels of advertising inventory and we are investing in our sales operation to ensure we extract maximum value from it. Molly and Shaun are highly skilled and experienced sales executives, and they will play a key part in the growth of Audioboom’s monetisation engine.’

In 2023, the company launched a brand-focused sales unit that has already seen strong early-stage growth with monetisation partnerships established with 8 of the top 15 major US advertising agencies.

Audioboom shares were up 8.0% to 270.00 pence each in London on Monday afternoon.
