Frontier IP Group PLC on Friday said it has hired Jo Stent as chief financial officer, effective April 22. Stent will be taking over the London-based intellectual property commercialisation company’s current CFO, Jim Fish, who will move to a new position within Frontier IP a portfolio finance director on the same day that Stent starts her role. It was first announced that Fish would step down as CFO after 10 year back in November. Under his new role, he will continue to support Frontier IP’s portfolio companies and will report into the group’s Chief Executive Officer Neil Crabb. Stent’s most recent gig was as CFO for Argentex Group PLC, where she served for three years. According to Frontier IP, she has ‘nearly 30 years’ experience in senior financial roles across a broad range of sectors and geographies.’ Frontier IP shares were 1.2% higher at 43.00 pence each on Friday morning in London.
