HgCapital Trust PLC on Monday announced a £21.3 million investment in Focus Group. Focus Group is a Brighton, England-based provider of digital workplace solutions to around 30,000 small and medium sized business customers. Hg, the manager of HgCapital Trust, said other institutional clients of Hg also will invest in Focus Group through the Hg Genesis 10 Fund. Shares in HgCapital Trust, the London-based investment firm, were little changed at 486.25 pence on Monday morning. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. HgT said its ‘liquid resources’ available for future deployment are estimated to be £670 million, around 29% of its estimated net asset value of £2.3 billion on February 29.
