Mpac Group PLC on Wednesday announced the launch of its first environmental, social & governance report, outlining inclusive and sustainable initiatives.

The Tadcaster, England-based packaging and automation company released a comprehensive report covering its social responsibility and governance targets, as well as highlighting its commitment to the environment.

Mpac outlined its commitment to reducing carbon emissions, minimising waste and optimising energy efficiency through measures such as offering eco-friendly packaging materials and ensuring that manufacturing processes are energy-efficient.

The company also outlined its initiatives to promote employee wellbeing, safety and professional development, and added that it acknowledges its responsibility towards local communities and the impact that the company has in all areas of its operation.

The report describes the company’s governance structure, compliance procedures and risk management controls, too.
