Hornby PLC on Thursday said Lyndon Davies will step down as non-executive chair on April 30 due to ‘personal, health related, reasons.’ The Margate, England-based scale model railway manufacturer said Davies will continue to serve on the board as non-executive director, however. John Stansfield, an existing non-executive director and previous chair, will step into the role as interim independent non-executive chair while a replacement for Davies is found. ‘The group thanks Lyndon for his service in the role over the last 15 months and welcome his continued involvement on the board,’ Hornby said.
