Bellevue Healthcare Trust PLC - London-based investment trust focused on equities in the healthcare sector - Says its net asset value is 150.50 pence as at April 30, down 9.7% from the end of March and, 7.1% down from a year prior. Bellevue says that the macroeconomic environment remains ‘extremely challenging’ across all industries, and adds that its NAV return ‘significantly’ underperformed the wider healthcare sector in April. Portfolio companies in the Medical Technology and Managed Care sectors performed worst in April, Bellevue says, while Healthcare Technology is the only sub-sector to have generated a positive return.
