Corero renews $1 million, three-year contract with DigitalOcean

ALN

Corero Network Security PLC on Wednesday said it has secured a $1.0 million, three-year contract renewal with DigitalOcean Holdings Inc.

Corero is a London-based cybersecurity provider specialising in distributed denial-of-service protection solutions. DigitalOcean is a US cloud computing provider, with a global network spanning over 17 data centres.

‘Corero will continue to provide DigitalOcean with its comprehensive SecureWatch Managed Services, reinforcing its trusted position in safeguarding DigitalOcean’s extensive network infrastructure. Corero’s fully managed solution encompasses configuration optimisation, proactive monitoring, and swift mitigation response to any DDoS incidents and has been tailored to meet DigitalOcean’s specific security policies,’ the company explained.

During a trial and testing period, Corero said it ‘demonstrated seamless and continuous optimisation, ultimately leading to an extended commitment from DigitalOcean.’

Chief Executive Carl Herberger said: ‘We are thrilled to both continue and extend our partnership with DigitalOcean. This renewal underscores the confidence they have in our ability to protect their critical infrastructure, and our SecureWatch Managed Services will allow DigitalOcean to focus on their core business activities, knowing that their network is in safe hands.’

Shares in Corero closed up 1.9% to 13.50 pence each in London on Wednesday.
