Intercede shares jump on Carahsoft cybersecurity partnership

ALN

Intercede Group PLC on Wednesday said that it partnered with Carahsoft Technology Corp on providing digital identity cybersecurity solutions to the US public sector.

According to the Leicestershire, England-based cybersecurity software firm, Carahsoft will serve as master government aggregator.

More specifically, this means helping to make Intercede’s products available to the public sector through reseller partners and various contracts, including with Omnia Partners.

As per the agreement, Intercede will be providing its MyID Multi-Factor Authentication and MyID Password Security Management solutions to the public sector.

‘We are particularly pleased to partner with Carahsoft to further enable Intercede in our strategic plan to expand our product portfolio into key markets of the US. With Carahsoft’s depth and reach in the federal, local government space and educational market we look forward to developing and strengthening our new relationship,’ said Chief Executive Officer Klaas van der Leest.

Shares in Intercede Group were trading 12% higher at 139.90 pence each in London on Wednesday morning.
