IN BRIEF: Adriatic Metals suspends operations after fatal incident

Adriatic Metals PLC - Balkans-focused exploration & development company - On Wednesday a vehicle overturned near the rescue station at the company’s Rupice Mine in Bosnia resulting in the death of a local subcontractor who was driving. The area has since been secured, with mining operations suspended for 24 hours.

Interim Chief Executive Officer Laura Tyler says: ‘The local authorities are conducting an immediate review of the incident, and we will be reinforcing our commitment to a safe working environment through improvements in risk management and all the safety procedures of our contractors.’

Current stock price: 140.40 pence, down 1.1% on Thursday morning
