Made Tech wins £13 million contract with UK Department for Education

ALN

Made Tech Group PLC on Monday announced it has been awarded a contract with the UK Department for Education worth around £13.2 million.

The provider of digital, data and technology services to the UK public sector said the contract allows it to provide service capabilities to support the Standards & Testing Agency, a body within the Department for Education.

Primarily, the contract involves the delivery of the Reception Baseline Assessment, a new government initiative to monitor pupil progress. This is due to launch in April 2025.

The contract is worth £13.2 million over a four-year period, with an option for the Department for Education to extend for a fifth year, valued at an additional £3.3 million.

Chief Executive Officer Rory MacDonald said: ‘We are pleased that the Department for Education has chosen to partner with us once again, and expand our relationship across multiple service lines, demonstrating their confidence in our ability to deliver critical digital solutions and reinforcing our reputation in the market. The award of this contract helps underpin our revenue expectations for financial 2025.’

Shares in Made Tech were up 5.0% at 16.68 pence each in London on Monday afternoon.
