Dialight’s shares plummet as trial with former partner Sanmina ends

ALN

Dialight PLC on Tuesday said that a trial regarding litigation with its former manufacturing partner, Sanmina Corporation, has now concluded.

Dialight is a London-based producer of LED lighting for heavy industrial applications, while Sanmina is an electronic manufacturing service company.

The news follows an announcement by Dialight in late July that a mistrial had been declared with regard to the litigation, and that a 10-day trial had been rescheduled to begin on September 9.

Now that the trial is complete, Dialight is currently reviewing the detailed jury verdict and judicial rulings in conjunction with its legal advisers and will release a further announcement as soon as there is greater certainty over the implications of the verdict.

The judgments will be fully released by the court in due course.

Shares in Dialight fell 28% to 180.00 pence each in London on Tuesday afternoon.
