Sirius Real Estate Ltd - London and Johannesburg-listed property investor - Acquires a multi-let light industrial park in Carnforth, Lancashire, for £9.05 million. Says this acquisition will add to its UK light industrial portfolio, and has been made using proceeds of the recent capital raise in July. In addition, Sirius completes the €3 million acquisition of a strategic land parcel adjacent to its Oberhausen multi-use business park in the Ruhr area of northwest Germany. ‘We are continuing to make good progress on our acquisition pipeline, following on from 12 months of active investments in both Germany and the UK,’ Chief Executive Officer Andrew Coombs said, adding: ‘The Carnforth acquisition presents the company with a number of value-add opportunities to utilise the Sirius platform to grow the income and value of the asset.’ Current stock price in London: 88.80 pence, up 1.4% on Tuesday 12-month change: up 1.6% Current stock price in Johannesburg: R 20.12, down 0.3% 12-month change: up 1.1% Copyright 2024 Alliance News Ltd.
