Legal & General Group PLC - London-based insurer and asset manager - Completes the share buyback programme it launched in June, raising nearly £200.0 million via the purchase of 88.8 million shares at an average of 225.14 pence per share. The buyback was conducted by Barclays Capital Securities Ltd on the company’s behalf, and Legal & General plans to carry out similar buyback programmes for 2025 to 2027.
