International Personal Finance PLC - Leeds-based provider of credit products and insurance services - Says its Polish home credit operation, Provident Polska Ltd, has been granted a full payment institution licence from the Polish financial supervision authority, the Komisja Nadzoru Finansowego, or KNF. This allows the group to issue a greater volume of credit cards in Poland with immediate effect. Chief Executive Officer Gerard Ryan says: ‘With this new licence, we will be able to expand access to even more customers, allowing them to shop online, in retail stores or access cash through their customer representative or an ATM.
