OPG Power Ventures PLC - Isle of Man-based developer and operator of power plants in India - Says it is the subject of an investigation into alleged regulatory non-compliance under the Foreign Exchange Management Act. OPG Power Ventures says it has undertaken all material transactions, has followed professional advice on adhering to the FEMA, and is ‘confident’ it has been compliant. It says it will ‘offer full co-operation to the investigation’. The company does not expect the investigation to impact any of its plant operations, and will provide further updates ‘in due course’.
