Redeems 50.4 million shares, 19% of its total, at 89.34 pence each, worth £45.0 million. GCP Asset Backed Income Fund now has 215.6 million shares in issue. The company’s second compulsory redemption was first announced earlier this month, when it also declared a dividend of 1.58p per share for the third quarter. The redemption price was the fund’s net asset value per share on June 30 of 90.92p, less that quarterly payout.
