IN BRIEF: Law Debenture buys Linklaters’s process agency business

Law Debenture Corp PLC - London-based investment trust that also provides independent governance and transactional support services - Fully buys Hackwood Secretaries Ltd, which has now been renamed LDCS Process Agent Ltd, from Linklaters LLP. The acquisition aims to boost the relationship between Law Debenture and Linklaters.

Via the acquisition, Law Debenture ‘acquired the process agency business previously owned by Linklaters,’ the company says.

Law Debenture Chief Executive Officer Denis Jackson says the transaction: ‘Builds on our well established and trusted global book of Process Agent Services, marking a further step in expanding Law Debenture’s capabilities within Independent Professional Services.
