Galliford Try wins £100 million spot on Yorkshire Water framework

Galliford Try Holdings PLC on Monday said it has won a place on the Yorkshire Water non-infrastructure works framework, worth around £100 million to the company.

The Uxbridge, England-based construction company said its Environment business has been appointed to the complex element of the framework for the asset management period eight delivery period, between 2025 and 2030.

The complex part of the framework is valued at £850 million in total, and around £100 million for Galliford Try.

The company said it will provide civil engineering, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control and automation and building capability in accordance with Yorkshire Water’s standards.

Galliford Try was recently appointed to frameworks for Southern Water and Wessex Water worth £500 million and £400 million respectively.

Chief Executive Bill Hocking said: ‘We have sustained a successful track record of winning places on these key water sector frameworks for the AMP8 period which are a driver of our sustainable growth strategy. We look forward to working with Yorkshire Water on this new framework to deliver high-quality facilities that meet their customers’ needs.’

Shares in Galliford Try were down 0.8% to 368.00 pence in London on Monday afternoon.
