Cohort PLC - Reading, England-based technology firm - Completes its takeover of Brisbane, Australia-based naval communications firm EM Solutions Pty Ltd. It will operate as the seventh stand-alone business within Cohort, reporting through the Communications & Intelligence division. Cohort announced in November it had agreed to buy EM Solutions for A$144.0 million, about £75 million at the time. Chief Executive Andy Thomis says: ‘We are delighted to welcome EM Solutions to the group. This is a significant step for Cohort, broadening the group’s strong naval systems service offering, bringing new customers and enhancing the global footprint of the combined business.
