Transense secures Haltec distribution deal to expand US market reach

ALN

Transense Technologies PLC on Friday said its Translogik division has signed a distribution agreement with Haltec Corp, an Ohio, US-based provider of tyre valve and management solutions.

The Bicester, England-based sensor technology developer said the deal will see Haltec become a formal distributor of Translogik’s advanced tyre inspection tools, expanding Transense’s market reach within the US.

Haltec will integrate Translogik’s tyre inspection tools into its portfolio of tyre management solutions, and will hold Translogik inventory in the US, to enable faster supply to the market.

While Transense has previously sold products in the US, this deal marks the first time it has established a formal distribution partner with local stock and service capabilities.

‘Partnering with Haltec Corp is a significant step forward for Transense,’ said Managing Director Ryan Maughan.

‘Their expertise, established customer relationships and extensive sales network will allow us to deliver our tyre inspection tools to a much broader audience in North America. With Haltec’s excellent reputation, strong industry presence and commitment to innovation, we anticipate this partnership to drive substantial growth for Translogik in the region.’

Shares in Transense were up 3.4% at 152.55 pence in London on Friday morning.
