Drax Group PLC - Selby, England based electricity generator - Confirms it will start the third £75 million tranche of its £300 million share buyback programme once the second tranche has completed. So far in the programme launched in October, Drax has bought back 23.4 million shares for £150 million in total. Drax released its 2024 results on Thursday, declaring a 13% hike to its annual cash dividend. Pretax profit fell by 5.4% but adjusted earnings were up 5.0%.
